🇩🇪 Aylo Sites Like Pornhub & YouPorn Remain Blocked in Germany After Court Ruling
Germany has upheld a full ban on Pornhub, YouPorn, and other Aylo-owned sites, demanding stricter age verification measures. The court ruling supports regulators’ efforts to protect minors from open access to adult content and signals a growing global trend toward tighter controls in the porn industry.

Germany has upheld a nationwide block on major adult platforms like Pornhub and YouPorn, following a ruling by the Berlin Administrative Court. The decision supports state media regulators’ demands for strict age verification, aimed at protecting minors from unrestricted access to adult content.
Aylo Holdings, the parent company behind these sites, lost its appeal to lift the geoblock enforced by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, led by media chief Dr. Tobias Schmid. The court emphasized that Aylo failed to comply with laws requiring access restrictions, and therefore, the ban will remain in place.
“The provider continued to distribute adult content freely despite the ban,” the court stated. Regulators argue that these platforms must implement closed user groups with verified age checks to legally host pornographic content.
Aylo can appeal to a higher court, but this follows a trend—similar rulings have already been made, including one in 2023 by the Düsseldorf Administrative Court.
Aylo also owns other popular platforms like Brazzers, TransAngels, and MyDirtyHobby. Globally, the company is also fighting legal battles, including a U.S. Supreme Court case challenging age verification laws in Texas.
This ruling marks another major step in Europe’s ongoing crackdown on unrestricted adult content access.
